I for one really like this movie for some reason I go later, but I want to touch on why I think people do not like it. First of all, there are people who just love to hate Tom Cruise. I dont really understand. Secondly, I think Cameron Crowe successfully p *** es off two groups of movie goers with this film. Casual, relaxed, did not need to think very hard group of movie goers are left confused when the plot takes a full 180 at the end of the movie. And deep philosophical puzzle fans will be destroyed if Crowe is one of the characters completely explain mystery.This is a good film. And Tom Cruise makes a very good job of it. I think probably the best performance of their own, so I've seen it all, though I have not seen all of his movies, or even most of them, apparently. Supporting cast is good as well. Penelope Cruz gives a strong performance and Jason Lee was enjoyable.I history, and I think thats what the Vanilla Sky more than anything else. It is a mystery, adventure, and romantic comedy, but mostly it's just a good story. And it is a lot of philosophical undertones, and a lot of similar ideas and stories such as this occurs historical philosophy. David Aames (Cruise) is a man who had everything he wanted, more or less lost, was given a second chance together, clinging to win everything back, and eventually your Sh , gu, and Demone fully what is happening, picks, ease of reality and normality ot, r, to see if he can finally find the one thing he could never get a grip, People were disappointed happiness.Many Crowe revealed that a total mystery to the end. I think it is necessary. The audience will know beyond doubt that David is aware of his situation, and it makes the choice even more powerful ending. And the music is a great film. Perhaps what makes his films so enjoyable as it is. Especially Njosnavelin by Sigur Ros, which is amazing song.All at all Id give 3 out of 4 stars. This film some substance to them, who likes to think things through, and a great story for those who are looking t "rested. This moderate approach is probably the reason why people do not like it so much, because it's not a full-blown mystery story or a full-blown love. He mixes and matches different elements and genres.
