Review:
Note: I stay away from describing the plot in any detail, because it would be very difficult to do so without damaging aspect of it. Inside Man starts a taboo, high-octane action thriller and the center of its wholly transformed into a fresh, tongue-in-cheek heist film, reminiscent of Sting. I find that it is too drawn, but it comes with the strategy - expected twists are fortunately mostly expected ways. Inventions abound, and we dont really learn the background Heist (ie thugs learn about their target), but the story and atmosphere more than the city make up for it. Carefully designed plot also has a lack of real 3D characterization - in addition to an ambitious Denzel Washington policeman hero who reaches at least the story of humanity. The nature of communication between them, his sidekick (Chiwetel Ejiofor Serenity fame) and frustrated captain played by Willem Dafoe is great with some sparkling dialogue. Clive Owen is fine most of the time to convince the criminal mastermind, he spends most of the film wearing a mask. Id say this film is harmless fun, not the usual fare Spike Lee, who begins to prove his versatility. Help is available in the back-story on some of the difficult issues of the past, but its nothing more than a MacGuffin that it applies only to a small importance in the resolution image. This is a neat restructuring steps to flash forward scenes, hints towards the Heist without giving away the real ending. Use it sparingly and smart. I highly recommend this film, it's never boring moment, what is more, I enjoyed it so much, as the party heads to the top, I wanted to make it go away . And it's very rare for me to the movies today.
