Description:
After Indias father dies, her Uncle Charlie, who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her mother is unstable. She comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives and becomes increasingly infatuated with him.
Review:
Although I can not remember many other films Vengeance trilogy, III always love Chan-wook Park for the Oldboy (Note: could not be less interested in Spike Lee's upcoming remake). Film strong intensity that is above many violent Asian cinema. Unfortunately, it feels more like Oldboy is a coincidence. Stoker beautifully shot, sharply edited and sound design is very intimate, but the story leaves much to be desired, so frustrating missed opportunity. This film seems to live in some weird Tim Burton-Addams Family, is a world full of bland archetypes and clichés? S. For the first time, there is no detail given about the character and throws us uninteresting conflict in their relationship and expect us to care and ultimately flashback does not make much difference then either. Interim suffered for it was cold and melodramatic. Park management is more interested in the camera, rather than an actor (granted, I've heard there is a language barrier) but I blame writer.Instead details and dialogue revels in images and symbols that will be interesting given context better and defaults. Stoker film jumps camp inmate violence and sex of any conflict of shutter speeds. The connection is assumed to be frustrated and feel honest. However, some films thrilling and sensual effect is felt that the use of photo editing and even if some images do not feel like they were cut well together, but feel empty. Goode makes both Norman Bates, but I bought his obsession. Kidman and Wasikowska feels lost directly from the adolescent feels clichéd book. I do not know what they say at the end of it. Its not surprising that this is a script that comes from a first time author who thinks they're original. Although Parks and III can still look when I get thirsty I'm a cyborg round to them. They look like they have more stories.6/10
