Review:
Opening: I just returned to the city two days ago and planned to see one of my old friends tonight. I do not want to see this movie, and would not be under any other circumstances, but my friends are really like and the tickets are free, so I went. Check yourself this: It is not disrespectful to Jonah Hill, his fashion style of humor or his fans at all, but I personally got tired of what seems now to be a number that should be Hangover and Superbads. (The success of Project X seriously bothers me ...). Anyway, as a way of thinking closer tonight, and given the fact that not laugh once during the trailer 21 JS, green or red tape ... I really was not expecting all that much from the experience in addition to leaving the house and catching up with friends. But, damn it. I honestly thought this movie was great. Yes, there are parts I'm not fond of ... Little dialogue seems to be vulgar strictly because it is vulgar ... There are generally expected Jonah Hill trademark countless penis jokes and a completely unnecessary temptation shock, but most of the film is, to me, surprisingly satirical / smart / relevant to today's society, self-aware and situationally hilarious. Even the dumbest and most practical joke this movie and clichés? S seems to know that they are taking and when a proper construction Funny / context at least warrant a chuckle. This film has some surprisingly intelligent dialogue about some of the best supporting characters I've seen in recent Comedy (Ice Cube, The Principal, etc..) What really stands out for me is editing. 21 Jump Street feature some of the most dangerous shock funny transition chamber music scene change and fellowship. Despite its flaws, I found it damn hard movie to hate, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun weekend movie.All all ... real smart, vulgar still respected comedy with some heart. IMO a very good career move for Hill, and Tatum. Outraged about the sequel.
